Art Exhibition - Dulyn 08, Dublin 08, Bail Atha Cliath 08

Oriel Dafydd Hardy is pleased to present Dulyn 08, Dublin 08, Baile Atha Cliath 08, a group exhibition of five emerging Irish artists.

Mae Oriel Dafydd Hardy’n falch o gyflwyno Dulyn 08, Dublin 08, Bail Atha Cliath 08, arddangosfa ar y cyd gan bum arlunydd ifanc Gwyddelig.

The artist’s have been selected from the National College of Art and Design graduate show in Dublin, all from the Department of Painting. Within the group however many diverse mediums are used to explore a variety of concepts and subject matter.

This is the first time the group is showing as professional artists as opposed to art students. and the movement from showing in an educational institution to an art gallery has been an interesting one.

Dyma’r tro cyntaf i’r grŵp arddangos eu gwaith fel arlunwyr proffesiynol yn hytrach na myfyrwyr, ac mae’r cam rhwng arddangos mewn gofod addysgiadol i oriel gelf wedi bod yn ddiddorol.

Tá neart stíleanna éagsúla in úsáid ag na healaíontóirí seo chomh maith le iliomad ábhair agus coinceapanna. Seo an chéad uair don ghrúpa seo páirt a ghlacadh i dtaispeántas ealaíne mar ealaíontóirí gairmiúla agus ba phróiséas an- shuimiúil a bhí ann dóibh.
